Maser has successfully completed the supply of instrumentation, control and thermocouple cables required for a 630MW gas-fired power station construction in Queensland’s Darling Downs region near Braemar.

Located 40km west of Dalby, the new $780 million facility will generate enough power to supply the equivalent of 400,000 Queensland homes once complete.

Maser was awarded the electrical cable contract due to its outstanding customer service and supply history that spans more than 27 years across both Australian and International projects, the company claims.

The client also recognised that Maser offers a great choice of product from leading cable manufacturers around the world, resulting in an easy solution to procuring the specified cable schedule, the company said.
