Awards name best in class

Invensys Process Systems (IPS) has been named the market-leader in safety and critical control at the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards, which recognises superior planning and execution in numerous worldwide industries.

Taking the gong for the 2008 Asia Pacific Safety Systems Company Of The Year section, IPS has now claimed market leadership in the division for two years running.

IPS upgrades existing manufacturing plant infrastructure with safety systems to meet current market needs in the oil, gas, hydrocarbon processing, power and specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries.

Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific partner and managing director, Manoj Menon, said he was “delighted” to present the award to IPS.

A host of other marketing factors such as leadership, strategy, service, innovation, integration, and development are also considered as part of the Award methology.
